Who is the
Cobb Elder Abuse Task Force?
We are a multi-jurisdictional organization that addresses financial, physical/emotional and institutional abuse of seniors. In addition, we provide education and awareness training for service providers, law enforcement and community organizations.
Our membership is made up of a network of partnering agencies that have significant contact with the senior population. We work together to discuss elder abuse, share concerns, and develop strategies to address elder abuse in our community. We recognize that progress comes through collaboration.
Our mission is to help protect our most vulnerable citizens and educate others to:

Seek Participation & Collaboration with Citizens, Licensed Care Homes, Social Agencies, Regulators, Enforcement Agencies
Educate Citizens and Business Communities on the forms of abuse:

However, we are not a forum for commercial networking or a political forum for individual agendas. People who attend our meetings work with seniors, and we share a goal of addressing elder abuse. The Board reserves the right to limit attendance if potential attendees do not fall within our mission-critical initiatives.
